Jessica Mols is an associate in the Employment & Labor practice group and a member of the Firm's Litigation department. She joined the Firm in 2008 and is resident in the Boston office.
Ms. Mols's practice includes both employment litigation and counseling. She has represented employers in litigation matters in a wide variety of claims, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage/hour, and wrongful termination.
Ms. Mols's counseling practice includes drafting and negotiating executive and other employment-related agreements, including non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements, and advising employers on hiring, terminating and disciplining employees, personnel policies and procedures, leaves of absence, employee classifications and compliance with state and federal employment law requirements.
Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Mols was an associate in the Employment and Labor Practice Group of the Palo Alto office of Morrison & Foerster.
Ms. Mols earned her JD from American University, Washington College of Law in 2006, graduating Order of the Coif and magna cum laude. While at American University, she was an Associate Note and Comment Editor of the International Law Review. Ms. Mols received her BA degree from Scripps College in 2001, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude.
Ms. Mols is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, California and the District of Columbia.
