Alex Velinsky, Associate

Alex R. Velinsky is an associate in the Firm's Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice.  He joined the Firm in 2009 and is resident in the New York office.

Mr. Velinsky's practice focuses on both litigation and transactional work, including the representation of creditors' committees in Chapter 11 reorganizations and liquidations.

Mr. Velinsky earned his J.D. in 2009 from Columbia Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.  Mr. Velinsky earned his A.B. from Princeton University in 2005 in History, with certificates in French and Contemporary European Politics and Society. 

Mr. Velinsky is admitted to practice in New York.
