2011 Annual Review

Our passion takes us to many places, both conceptually and geographically. Last year, it led us to the opening of Cooley's first international office—in Shanghai, China—one of the most dynamic markets in the world. We launched that office in late 2011, in recognition of the importance of Asia to the global economy and in response to your ever-increasing activity and attendant legal needs in that region of the world. Having an actual footprint in China is a natural extension of the work we have done for many years advising our clients on their China-based interests.
