Cooley Bankruptcy Group Named Turnaround Atlas Awards Finalist

New York -- May 20, 2010 -- Cooley's Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice was named a finalist for "Law Firm of the Year" and several other categories by the annual Turnaround Atlas Awards. Lawrence Gottlieb, the head of Cooley's bankruptcy practice, is a finalist for "Lawyer of the Year."

The bankruptcies of Crabtree & Evelyn and Filene's Basement, in which Cooley served as debtors counsel and creditors counsel, respectively, were also named finalists for "Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year," and the Crabtree & Evelyn bankruptcy was named a finalist for "Corporate Turnaround Deal of the Year."

The Turnaround Atlas Awards honor leaders, professionals, top deals and firms from the distressed, special situations M&A, and the turnaround communities.
